Michael’s passion for business was shaped long before his professional career began.
Raised in a family business founded by his grandfather over 70 years ago, Michael grew up witnessing firsthand the dedication, sacrifice, and long-term commitment required to build something that lasts. From the age of twelve, he worked throughout the organization, starting in the warehouse and learning every aspect of the operation from the ground up.
Those experiences instilled a deep appreciation for the responsibility that comes with ownership. He understands that a business is far more than numbers in a spread sheet- it’s employees, customers, suppliers, families, and a legacy built over decades.
Today, Michael combines that operational perspective with his professional expertise as a CPA. His focus is on helping great businesses continue to thrive while preserving the values and culture that made them successful in the first place.

Jack Hamilton, CPA

Jack has always been fascinated by what makes businesses successful.
Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining financial expertise with operational insight, helping organizations create scalable processes, high-performing teams, and sustainable growth. His ability to translate financial information into practical business decisions has made him a trusted advisor and leader across a wide range of industries.
Most recently, Jack served as Chief Financial Officer for Constellation Software’s Digital Marketing portfolio, overseeing multiple business units and legal entities across North America, Europe, and Asia. In that role, he worked closely with founders and business owners navigating acquisitions, succession planning, and long-term growth strategies.
Those experiences reinforced a belief that many owners care just as much about who will carry their legacy forward as they do about the financial outcome of a transaction.
That belief ultimately became one of the foundations of HDFH.
